Hello, my name is Mr. Mac. Mr. Ronnie Mac. I would like to invite you out to visit us at our place of business, Shops & Salons. I put this business together in this way for one reason, to better serve you. I have been in this business for more than 15 years and I have grown more and more disgusted with the way customers have been being treated. Lots of salons and barber shops have been simply doing just enough to get your money and nothing more. Not at Shops & Salons. We pride ourselves on going that extra mile to make your visit with us a pleasurable one.

MEMBERSHIP
Shops and Salons have one of the first memberships of its kind. When our customers come to Shops & Salons, they sign up for a membership. This membership is used to keep track of all our customers and the information needed to better serve them. This information is highly confidential and is not shared with any other party without the customers expressed consent. This membership is also used to keep track of our customers’ information for serving their beauty needs.
If customers have special needs like sensitive skin, easily damageable hair or allergic to certain products, we can not that information on the membership account. Memberships are not new to the business world; it’s just new to this industry.

We started this membershipfor a couple of reasons.
1. Security. when a customer signs up for a S&S Membership, the will fill out a form and take a picture for the S&S Membership card that we will print out for them. This procedure only takes two minutes and it helps us to know who the people are that are coming into Shops & Salons. With this in place all our customers and members are more prone to be on their best behavior knowing that we have their information and their picture on file.
2. Loyalty. Our membership is a little plastic card that has the picture of the member and their information on it. This means that we don’t have customers, we have members. Our members appreciate this fact because it means that we must treat them like more than just a customer. Our reports show that our members are more likely to frequent Shops & Salons rather than “Shop Hopping” or going to multiple different salons because he or she is a member at Shops & Salons and not just a customer.
3. Quality. When you are a member of an association paying membership dues, you expect the best. We at Shops & Salons understand that. This is why we take great pride in our painstaking hiring and training programs. To make sure that you are receiving the best that you’re money can buy, we weed trough hundreds of applicants to pick the best suited barber or stylist or tech to serve you.

Sign Up. The sign up process is a simple one. All you do is fill in a small form with simply your name, address, phone number and a couple other bits of information. Pay for your card, either $5 for a monthly membership or $1 for a one day membership. We also have initiated a yearly membership where instead of paying $5 every month for a monthly membership you can pay for the whole year and receive a discount of two months off. After you choose your membership you take a picture for your S&S Membership card and you’re done. All information collected by Shops and Salons is held in the strictest of confidence. You may also choose to take your picture after you hair is done. Once your picture is taken you will receive your S&S Membership card in about 2(two) minutes. Then you simply bring your S&S Membership card into the salon every time you come to visit or receive a service and you will be good to go. The receptionist at the front will scan in your card to let you.
You also receive points for using your S&S Membership Card. Every time you visit a Shop & Salons location for haircut or hairstyle you will receive point on your card. There are now even more services being added to S&S to add more ways to receive points on you S&S Membership. Your points will be able to be calculated on posted on the internet for your viewing. You will be able to see how many points you have and what goods and service you have enough points to receive for free.
